即便在 X 發生之前，已經存在這類 worries (擔憂)，that解釋哪種worries。
• worries：令人擔憂的事 (在此當可數名詞)
• economy：一般理解為「經濟」，在此 economies，用了複數，意思為「國家」，把國家當成一個經濟體來看，所以world’s leading economies 世界經濟領先的國家
• recovery：復甦的過程，再變得強壯的過程 (名詞，用單數)
• run out of steam：失去動力，沒有力氣了，沒勁了
recovery was running out of steam 復甦過程沒勁，也就是復甦不起來

█ 一個機構 (Brewin Dolphin) 的首席策略家 (chief strategist) Mike Lenhoff說：
這是一個政治領導力的危機，跟公司收益無關，決策者必需面對國家債信危機。
"This is a crisis of political leadership, not company earnings," said Mike Lenhoff, chief strategist at Brewin Dolphin. "Policymakers have to confront their sovereign debt crisis."
• earnings：名詞，(複數型態) 公司的營利收益 (the profit)
• confront：面對，對抗 (動詞)

█ 替金融時報寫稿的經濟學家 Professor Nourie Roubini說：
有個升高的風險，現在正接近50%的可能性，美國和大部分先進國家經濟體，有二次衰退的風險。
Writing in the Financial Times, the economist Professor Nouriel Roubini, said： "There is a rising risk - approaching 50% now - of a double-dip recession (二次衰退) in the US and most advanced economies (大部分先進的經濟體國家)."

• a rising risk： 升高的風險，可能性加大
• A double-dip recession：二次衰退
► double dip 原來是W狀的曲線圖，表現的是一次經濟衰退發生，在短暫復甦成長之後，很快又進入衰退的情況。
► 如果沒有金融背景，可能一般人對讀英文金融新聞，會感到沒把握，其實還是可以透過查看英文資料，進行瞭解。例如到Google 搜尋引擎找” double-dip recession”，就可以看到解說： A W-shaped recession or "double dip" recession, occurs when the economy has a recession, emerges from the recession with a short period of growth, but quickly falls back into recession.
